Shiroi is the Co-founder of NagaEd, a digital education company empowering educators and students in tribal and indigenous communities. NagaEd uplifts education quality by delivering teacher training courses and implementing digital learning management systems into local schools. NagaEd procured a historic fundraise by bringing in the first Foreign Direct Invesmenet(FDI) to the state of Nagaland, North East India. Shiroi enjoys working on innovative ways of solving problems for underserved communities and has worked on developing multiple social ventures for tourism, micro finance, rural marketing and livelihoods enhancement. She is on the board of Entrepreneurs Associates(EA) a leading social impact organisation in Nagaland.
Shiroi was recognised as 100 Emerging women leaders by YourStory Media in 2021. She is an Acumen Fellow, India 2017 and Forbes 30u30, India, special mention for social impact in 2018. She is a Young Leader’s Accelerated Scholar at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore in 2019.
